Content title
     The text of title is important, because it is the part of the content displayed on search engine as a link. Search engine also gives the content title more weight when determining what order to display pages. Size limitation: 60 characters, weight: 100%, other limitations: would not let to repeat the same word more then 3 times.

Visitors will be searching and then quickly scanning through search result, it is vitally important that they quickly get the idea of what your content is about just by reading the title. Ondix will automatically remove any 'unusual' punctuation and other 'highlights' from your title when you update content.

Content description

Visitors will be searching and then quickly scanning through search result, it is vitally important that they quickly get the idea of what your content is about just by reading the description. Description is what going to sell you content. Yes, it is only 254 characters, and you must make the best of it. This is the place for you to use your 'best seller' phrases. Ondix will automatically remove any 'unusual' punctuation and other 'highlights' from your description when you update content.

Content subject, schoot, teacher, keywords fields
     The Subject of your content is important. Subject is what stands Ondix search engine apart from others. The Subject field will usually contain the subject of your content such as 'math', 'American history' and the similar. Size limitation: 20 characters, weight: 100% (if subject is specified in the search), other limitations: would not let to repeat the same word more then 2 times.

     The School of your content is important. School is what stands Ondix search engine apart from others. The School field will usually contain the school of your content such as 'UCLA', 'Pierce College' and the similar. Size limitation: 20 characters, weight: 100% (if school is specified in the search), other limitations: would not let to repeat the same word more then 2 times. This field is search-case insensitive, but it will look more attractive with proper casing. This is also the no-negative-effect field.

     The Teacher of your content is important. Teacher is what stands Ondix search engine apart from others. The Teacher field will usually contain the name of the teacher of your content such as 'Dr. Smith', 'Some Dork' and the similar. Size limitation: 20 characters, weight: 100% (if teacher is specified in the search), other limitations: would not let to repeat the same word more then 2 times. This field is search-case insensitive, but it will look more attractive with proper casing. This is also the no-negative-effect field.

     The Keywords of your content is important. Keywords are what stands Ondix search engine apart from others. The Keywords field will usually contain the keywords what you think visitors would search by to find your content. It is important to list any keywords in this field that did not fit into the title or description. Size limitation: 2000 characters, weight: 60%, other limitations: would not let to repeat the same word more then 1 time. Keywords should be separated by the space. It is NOT necessary to separate you keywords by comma or using any other punctuation. This field is search-case-insensitive. This is also the no-negative-effect field.

Content actual content and file uploading
     Under 'protected' section you can add your actual content. This is the section of the content that users will have access to only after they purchase the content. Therefore, it is protected until purchased.
You have few options on how to format your content. You may convert your files into text and then paste it into the 'actual content' window, so when somebody buys it, he or she will get access to that text. You may also scan your documents and then upload (attach) these documents to your content. When somebody buys the content with files attached they will have an opportunity to download (or open) these attached files.

     You may attach up to 100 different files to your content. The size of each file could not be more then 200KB. If you have files bigger then that you should split them into smaller ones, or consider re-scanning, or compressing them. Following formats of files are accepted: .jpg, .gif, .png, .bmp, .doc, .xls, .txt, .csv, .pdf. ( .zip and .rar formats will be added in the future) Ondix scans all uploaded files for viruses and if finds any your membership will be automatically suspended until investigation is performed. Please note that out of all the formats listed above the .doc (MS word) and .xls (MS excel) are two of the files most inclined to contain damaging scripts.

     Naming of the uploaded files is not necessary, but desirable. When you upload the file give it a meaningful name, so visitors would know what you attached to your content. The name you give to uploaded files is only used as a display tag; Ondix automatically names the actual file in the sequential order.

Content status and pricing
     The content status indicates the current status of the content. If status is set to 'enabled', the content is listed on the search and visitors have excess to it. If status is set to 'disabled', your content is not listed on the search and visitors don't have excess to it. The content is updated and entered into the Ondix search as soon as you press 'update'

     It is very important to set the correct price for your content. Price could be $0 (free) or in the range from $5 to $50. All transactions are calculated in US dollars. Please do your research and make your prices competitive. It is in Ondix interest to sell at the highest prices, but it is also in the Ondix interest to keep customers happy, increase sales and the popularity of the website. Competition normally levels out the average price of content at about $10. Please also note that the 'typical' Ondix buyer is a student who does not have a lot of money and would rather send it on beer and pizza, not on some digital stuff on the computer.

Content log files
     Ondix records the changes to your content. Every time when you update the content any change is being recorded. Every time when somebody buys your content, the snap shot of your content is taken and kept in the log files. You can access the log files any particular content by clicking 'view log' at the bottom of content page. If you don't see the 'view log' link, that means the content has just been created and do not yet have a change log.
