How
to add new request
The requests search works
very similar to content search. The purpose of the requests
is to organize the community of people who help each other.
To get to your requests go 'extras' then click 'requests'. To
search other people requests click 'requests' on the top menu.
To add new request go 'extras' then click 'new request'. Each
request has a title, subject, school, teacher, keywords. It
is important to specify as much information as possible so that
a possible helper would understand exactly what exactly you
need.
Edit replay posts for my request
Once you post a request it will
be included in the general request search. Other users can
access your request and see what you need. Other users can
also post the replays to your posts. When somebody posts the
re-play to your post you will receive an email-receipt of
that post and also may see the actual post when you edit your
request. To edit you request, you fist need to find it. Go
'extras', click 'requests', browse or search your request
and then click on its name. On the 'my request' page you can
see the actual request and also any replays that has been
posted. If you would like to delete any replays click 'delete
this post'.
Request fields explained
The requests fields are similar
to the content fields. You have the title, description, subject,
school, teacher, and keywords. Each of those fields has its
own importance when it comes to search. Title, for example,
has more weight then description, and description has more
weight then keywords. Please provide as much information as
possible. For more detailed information please see the content
fields explained.
