How
does request search work?
Ondix offers its users FREE
request service. When users register with Ondix, they have an
ability to post requests in the Ondix request section. The request
section works similar to the content search. Anybody can browse
or search through request section and see the requests posted.
Members and not members can then replay to the requests. Ondix
will send an email notification to the user who posted the request.
Who can post in the requests?
Ondix membership is free and
the requests section is completely free too. By providing
this service to our users and visitors free of charge Ondix
builds the community. Please be advised, Ondix is not responsible
for anything you do outside of our website. Be smart do not
give out your credit card or any other sensitive information
to anybody! Be aware of impersonators, Ondix representatives
will never call you and ask you for any of your information,
all our transactions are done through the website. So if somebody
calls you and claims to be an Ondix representative, hang up!
I don't want to get any more emails!
You can manage your requests
from your main user menu. Go 'extras' and the click 'my requests'.
Once there you can search or browse through your requests
and then select any particular request to edit. The request
page is similar to the content page. On that page you can
edit the searchable fields of your request such as title,
description, school, teacher, subject, and keywords. You can
also see and edit the post other people posted in the replay
to your request. By changing status to enable or disable you
can post or remove your request from Ondix request section
without deleting it. Of course you can always delete the whole
request by clicking 'delete this request'. The request section
is a new feature of Ondix please let us know if you would
like any improvements to it.
Ondix goes to a great length
to protect our users privacy. Your email is protected with
Ondix request module. We never reveal your email! When somebody
posts a replay to your request, that replay is posted on the
Ondix system (similar to a message board) and then it is also
forwarded to our mail server, which send it to you; therefore,
nobody but Ondix sees your original email!
